Now Where Was I?

It's September 2010, and I haven't updated this site since November of last year. I've been real busy at work (really busy) since then, but that project finally ended last month. I've made a little progress since then, but last weekend I banged myself up riding my motorcycle, so it will be six weeks or so until I can get back to wrenching. Since I have some free time now, I'll update the site with what I've done since November.


You can see the engine above, after it came out of the Caprice. It was like an Easter egg hunt finding all of the broken exhaust bolts. There were a couple obvious ones, but I kept finding more. Some of them had enough left to put Vise Grips or a stud extractor on them, but some of them required the use of an Easy Out. In the pictures I've got all the broken bolts out, and cleaned up the exhaust gasket surfaces.
